An Introductory Course: Forensic Nurse Death Investigators (FNDI): Basic Concepts and Responsibilities of Death Investigation Incorporating Nursing Concepts, Knowledge and Skills
This course is designed to introduce the student to the basic concepts and foundations of forensic nursing and integration of those concepts into the role of the forensic nurse death investigator. Principles of death investigation and application of nursing knowledge and skills into the role will be discussed.  The student will analyze the relationship between the nursing process and death investigation to discover links between the two roles and how to best integrate the concepts of both roles into an effective process.

Pediatric Sexual Assault Forensic Nurse Examiner Training
This online training program has been specifically designed for registered nurses and other licensed professionals interested in becoming Pediatric Forensic Examiners. The course content includes pertinent anatomy and physiology, forensic documentation terminology, photographic documentation, collection, handling, and preservation of physical and biological evidence, evidentiary chain of custody, medical and forensic documentation procedures and courtroom testimony. California BRN 85-hours of Continuing Education are offered for registered nurses completing the academic and internship portions of the course. Participants residing outside of California should contact their individual state's licensing board to verify and determine the California BRN applicability.
